MainSpring Golf LLC, a venture formed by Main Spring Capital Group and several investors, purchased the 150-acre golf course at 21515 E. Village Loop Rd. from MainSpring Capital Group and Farallon Capital Management. The price was not available by publication time.
The course is part of the Villages of Queen Creek, a 1,700-lot subdivision in Queen Creek developed in 2001 by MainSpring Capital Group and Farallon Capital Management.
Mills Brown, one of the principals with Main Spring Capital Group along with Marty Farnsworth, Curtis Brown, Gerry Bloomquist, and Joe Bayer, tells GlobeSt.com that the investment group currently is hunting for a second low- to mid-fee priced public golf course to add to their portfolio. Buyer and seller handled the deal with in-house representatives.
