David Dabbs with Houston's Betz Commercial Brokerage Inc. tells GlobeSt.com that the firm has closed a distribution warehouse in Atlanta, downsized in Toronto and boosted the Houston office/warehouse lease to 10,000 sf. The company plans to relocate some personnel from Atlanta and Toronto to Houston, he says.
Dabbs adds Tait was only one year into a five-year lease for 5,000 sf at the Houston property when a new five-year pact was worked out for double the space in a 45,000-sf building in the three-structure, 115,200-sf office park. The business center, now fully leased, is owned by BRI/Park 10 Business Center 1 Ltd. Dabbs, representing the building owner, was the only broker involved in the deal making. Tait distributes and services electronic equipment, particularly radio communications equipment for use by oil companies.
