The Abbey Group LP is staying put in a 64,666-sf warehouse at the West by Northwest Industrial Center at 7930 Blankenship Dr. The affiliate, LD Systems LP, is holding onto a 34,650-sf warehouse at 483 W. 38th St. David L. Cook, Jeff G. Peden and Marshall V. Davidson Jr., all in the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc., represented the tenants. The buildings' owner, ProLogis Trust of Denver, had in-house representative, Jeremy Giles in Houston, structure its terms.
Cook tells GlobeSt.com that the Abbey Group, part of Stellar's events rental operation, providing tents, stages, lighting, glass and linens, has been a tenant in the building for more than five years. He says LD Systems also has been a tenant for more than five years at 483 W. 38th St. It provides sound and lighting for large events. Both tenants signed the short-term leases while they make long-term plans, according to Cook.
