Walser's, which is expanding its retail operation to Internetwholesaling of art supplies, according to Jeff Turek in the KlabinCo.'s Torrance office, has already moved into the new facility at23145 Kashiwa Court. He and Todd Taugner, also in Klabin's Torranceoffice, represented Walser's. Jim D'Angelo of JD Co. in Torrancerepresented the seller, Magnetic Component Engineering ofTorrance.

Walser's acquisition is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring4,000 sf of office space, dock-high and ground-level loading. Thebuilding will include a retail showroom and 22-foot clear warehousespace. The move is the latest in a series of expansions forWalser's, which was founded in 1975 in a 1,300-sf storefront. Thecompany supplies art materials, drafting equipment, picture frames,office supplies, books, furniture, stationery, photo processing,fine pens, computer hardware and software, and provides computerdesign services. It is known for supporting the local art communityby providing awards to non-profit art associations' annualexhibitions.
