The buyer of record, D'Amico Holdings LP, is led by Dr. N. Kirk Speck. The broker's not talking about the asking price nor the selling price, but Harris County has assessed it at $321,300. The 50-year-old building at 3327-3331 D'Amico St. is situated near the intersection of Allen Parkway and Waugh Drive.
Charles Scoville of Houston-based United Equities Inc. represented the buyer in the deal. He tells GlobeSt.com that Speck, who will move his office from the nearby 3637 W. Alabama, plans to occupy about 20% of the building and lease the balance. The building was about 50% full at sale time. Scoville says he expects existing tenants will stay in place. Now, Speck is deciding what, if any, upgrades will be made to the property.
Rostam Pasada LP, a Houston investor, is the seller of record. Scoville says the seller owned the building for more than 10 years. It came to market because the private investor simply wanted to move on, he says. Jeff Trevino of the Michael Group in Houston represented the seller.
