Acquired by Kussardjian Trust, the complex is located at 1108-1112 Broadway. Encompassing a total of 12,780 sf, the property is home to tenants including Rally's Quick Stop, Dollarsmart, Auto Glass, Lisa's Hair & Nails and Broadway Video.

Broadway Plaza is the latest in a string of San Diego retail properties to change hands in recent months, as this market is still one of the healthiest in the nation. "Investor demand for retail properties remains very competitive," says Kent Williams, regional manager in the San Diego office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co. The brokerage firm recently published its yearly National Retail Index, which lists San Diego as number three out of 38 retail markets nationwide.
