"It's an absolute win-win for the city of Pompano [and Corinthian]," Marisela Cotilla, a broker involved in the transaction, tells GlobeSt.com, noting that Pompano Beach needed a college to meet the needs there.
In the staggered deal, Corinthian plans to take possession of the space beginning later this year, Cotilla says. "We're quite excited to be part of it; it was an effort with multiple brokers."
Cotilla, vice president, and Jeffrey Lapidus, also vice president with the Palm Beach County office of CB Richard Ellis Inc., represented Brenner Real Estate Group, along with Rauch Weaver, in the transaction. Brenner Real Estate Group owns the building.
Staubach Realty represented Corinthian Colleges in the lease.
