"The way it was set up was really ideal for their use," Marc Tuite, with Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial, tells GlobeSt.com of the 2419 W. 14th St. property in Tempe.

Tuite said the firm, a subsidiary of General Electric, will take the entire 42,377-sf, two-story building, known as Emerald Point, in the Hohokam Industrial Park under the $3.8-million deal for a call center operation. The building, which formerly served as a call center for electronics giant, Motorola, had been vacant for about a year.

Tuite, along with Mike Haenel and Andy Markham, negotiated the lease for the building owner, Tree Family LLC of Phoenix. Larry Downey with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc. represented the tenant.
