The new Newmark brokers are Jerry Johnson, Bryan Geisbauer, and Ryan Goforth.
Johnson, who is now a director at Newmark, is an 11-year industry veteran who formerly was an assistant director at Julien J. Studley Inc. in San Diego. Geisbauer and Goforth were both formerly with Insignia/ESG Inc.'s San Diego office.
Headquartered in New York, Newmark opened its first office in Southern California in 2000 and now has 35 professionals at Southland offices in San Diego, West Los Angeles, Downtown L.A., Long Beach and Orange County.
The company sees San Diego as its next major expansion market and intends to hire what it describes as "a significant number of professionals" over the next 12 months.
