"There was a lot of built-in value to this facility," Dan Calihan with CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com of Shasta's new 3750 W. Indian School Rd. location. "It allowed them to combine office, warehouse and manufacturing into one location."
Shasta's move into the facility in July will also allow it to consolidate several offices, including the current headquarters at 27th Avenue and Interstate 17. The lease is valued at close to $6.8 million, Calihan said. The company, which builds more than 3,000 new pools every year, also has design centers in Phoenix and Mesa.
Calihan, along with Joe Porter and Pat Feeney, negotiated the deal for the tenant. The building owner, Turney Partners LLC of Phoenix, was represented by Jim Harrison with Harrison Properties in Phoenix.
