The Wayne, NJ-based GAF Materials Corp., which makes commercial and residential roofing products, will use its new space for manufacturing, warehousing and distribution purposes. The broker for the transaction was David Simson of GVA Williams of New Jersey, based in Parsippany. No details of the lease were disclosed.
Located in Somerset County near I-78, I-287 and US 22, the facility is near another Murray Construction Co. project--the company's new Murray Corporate Center in Branchburg is projected to be 800,000 sf at build-out and will add substantially to the company's current portfolio of more than seven million sf of office and industrial space. Corporate neighbors here include Ortho Pharmaceutical, Merck, MetLife, Robert Wood Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute, Lifecell Corp., Fisher Scientific and Roche Pharmaceutical.
