Todd Severson of the Oakland office of Colliers says McPhails will use its space, which is at 2500 Atlas Rd., as a distribution operations center to service the North Bay area. Severson and Greig Lagomarsino, also with Colliers, represented Pinole Point Properties in the transaction. Tom McGovern of Cresa Partners and Dave Marley of Marley Associates represented McPhails.
McPhails, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck & Co., is a leading wholesale appliance supplier that serves contractors, developers, remodelers, home owners, apartment owners, property managers and interior designers.
Pinole Point Business Park is a 100-acre, master-planned development with warehouse, light industrial, manufacturing, R&D, office and biotech space. Phases I and II will include nine flex buildings totaling 1.5 million sf. Of that, 450,000 sf is complete.
