BAA Lynton received outline planning consent for a revised scheme from the London Borough of Hillingdon in January 2003. The hotel, which will provide 600 bedrooms and full leisure and business facilities will be directly linked to the terminal building, which will handle 30 million passengers per annum. It is anticipated that the hotel will open in 2008.
