The Southbay Pavilion contract is by far the largest of the assignments. The property is a 938,000-sf regional mall anchored by Sears, JCPenney and IKEA. New owner Hopkins Real Estate Group of Newport Beach plans to redevelop nearly 360,000 sf of the mall in Carson to bring in new retailers and restaurants. Coreland's Sharron King was named general manager and will oversee a staff of seven at the property. She will report to Yukie Meyers, the company's director of real estate management.
Additionally, Coreland was awarded the leasing and management contract for Diamond Bar Village Center, a 103,000-sf mixed-use retail and office project in Diamond Bar; Corona Corporate II, a 60,000-sf, class A office building at 255 E. Rincon Ave. in Corona; Atlantic Crossings, a 33,000-sf specialty center in Lynwood; Park Plaza, a six-acre parcel with 17,000 sf of existing retail in Buena Park, which is slated for redevelopment and conversion to senior housing; River View Place, a 46,000-sf retail center in Valencia. Coreland was retained for property management by HR Riverview LLC (Hopkins Real Estate Group).
