The four-story complex is situated on a 10-acre site in this Middlesex County community. The first units of the phased project are slated for delivery in the spring 2004, and full build-out is slated for the spring 2005, according to Sam M. Gershwin, president of Westminster Communities.
"Demographics and market studies within this group show that younger active adults still want to own their own homes, but they don't want the burdens of maintenance and other chores," Gershwin says. "Many also want to downsize from larger homes and take advantage of the current, prime real estate sales market."
Kushner's residential portfolio of owned and managed properties currently stands in the 25,000-unit range. The company also has a commercial portfolio of more than 7.5 million sf of office, industrial and retail properties.
