Contemporary furniture retailer Morada Interiors Ltd has taken a 15-year lease at a rent of £75,000 ($122,000) a year. The unit, which is close to Next and opposite JJB Sports, is 1,429 sf and includes 300 sf of storage space.
Faith Footwear has taken a 15-year lease at a base rent of £68,000 ($111,000) a year plus turnover for a 2,229 sf unit close to Allsports and Wallis and opposite GAP and Miss Selfridge.
The Gadget Shop has taken a 10-year lease at a rent of £65,000 ($106,000) a year for a 1,321 sf unit next door to Stylo Barrett and opposite Allsports. This unit was formerly occupied by Julian Graves which has relocated on a long-term deal within the centre.
Kingsgate is anchored by a 85,000 sf Beatties department store and includes a 640-space car park. King Sturge, Brian Oakwell & Company and Rees Denton are joint letting agents for Kingsgate. Dalgleish represented the Gadget Shop, Hill Woolhouse acted for Morada Interiors, and Blair Kirkman for Faith Shoes.
