The signing was announced by Ira Bloom, director of commercial leasing for Kushner Properties of Florham Park, NJ. Kushner Properties handles the leasing and management of the commercial holdings of Kushner Cos., also based in Florham Park. No specific details of the lease renewal were disclosed.
Kushner, which acquired 22-08 Route 208 about two years ago, recently completed interior renovations at the property, according to Bloom, and currently only has one 1,635-sf space available. Besides Maxell, the building's other tenants include the New Jersey Division of Taxation; All American Collectibles; Cyber Warrior Inc., a producer of computer games; Club Medical; Carl Mecky Architects; and the accounting firm of Zarrow & Klein.
"This building occupies a prime location in one of Bergen County's strongest office corridors," according to Bloom. "This has been a key to attracting and retaining a strong tenant roster.
Established more than 40 years ago, Maxell is a leading data energy, sound and vision product manufacturer. Its offerings include CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes and batteries, among other things.
