"By relocating from Broadview to the East/West Corridor, the Management Association was able to take advantage of current soft office market conditions," says Julien J. Studley Inc. managing director Corey Chase. "As a result, the organization was able to upgrade from class-C space in an industrial park, to class-A space in an office park at a comparable rental rate."

While terms were not disclosed, published net lease rates at Duke Realty Trust's building at 1400 Opus Pl. start at $13.75 per sf.

Senior managing director Geoff Kasselman and associate Kevin Moore teamed with Chase to represent the 800-member not-for-profit employers' association. Duke Realty Trust's Ryan O'Leary handled negotiations for the Indianapolis-based REIT.
