Jerry Sackler in the Downtown office of Daum reports that V&L Produce has taken over a build-to-suit project, which occupies two acres at 2550 E. 25th St. The company employs approximately 30 workers at the site. Sackler represented V&L Produce in its purchase of the property from Dynamic Builders, the locally based developer of the project, which represented itself.
The V&L Produce facility occupies a portion of a larger site formerly occupied by Reliance Steel. The new distribution center is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring 22,000 sf of cooler space, 18 dock-high loading doors, 26-foot minimum warehouse clearance and ample on-site parking.
