The company's 123,098-sf store at 381 Court St. is up for sale, according to the company's Web site. The listing does not provide a sale price, but it does say the company is willing to subdivide the site. The nearly 14-acre property comes with 615 parking spaces and is a freestanding building adjacent to Cordage Park offices.

The building will be available in late 2005 when Wal-Mart is ready to move into its supercenter, which the company has proposed to be at Plymouth Gateway off of Commerce Way in the Plymouth Industrial Park. Calls to Wal-Mart were not returned by deadline, but a representative of Plymouth's planning department tells GlobeSt.com that the company is still in the permitting process for the new location. The representative adds that the new Wal-Mart supercenter will be part of a shopping center that will include other businesses. She says that it is still unclear what other retail stores will go into the center.
