Jeff Moore and his Focused Retail Services Group of CB Richard Ellis in Anaheim-- John T. Mehigan, Barclay S. Harty, and Jennifer Meade--represented Upland-based Lewis Retail Centers, the developer of the center. PetsMart was represented by Mike Metzger of Sierra Pacific Retail Group in Sacramento.
Summit Heights Gateway is a 260,000-sf community center anchored by a recently opened 86,000-sf Kohl's department store and a soon to open, 30,000-sf Marshall's. The Fontana PetsMart is expected to open in the fall, joining a list of other tenants already signed up at Summit Heights. It's located along the Interstate 15 freeway in North Fontana, a quickly growing part of the Inland Empire where retail is following housing developments.
