Bryon Ward of the Newport Beach office of Grubb & Ellis tells GlobeSt.com that Encore expects to start moving in August to its new building, which is at 1833 Alton Parkway, and will fill the building in phases over an 18-month period. Ward represented the mortgage lender, which now occupies space in parts of two buildings at University Research Park. Ward says Encore will be relocating from approximately 55,000 sf of leased space in its existing facilities, where the lease at one building is due to expire in September, and the other lease will run for another two years. Due to be vacated in September is 23,000 sf. Encore will continue to occupy the 32,000-sf space for the next two years.

The new headquarters address is a concrete tilt up, two-story office flex building that was completed in 1981. Brian Garbutt of Lee & Associates in Newport Beach represented the building owner, Adler Realty Investments Inc. of Los Angeles.
