The firm, a developer and publisher of award-winning multimedia educational software, videos and printed supplements for use in schools, will begin relocating from 101 Castleton St. in Pleasantville, to its new offices in Valhalla next month. Its new space will function as a software publication location, Insignia/ESG officials say.
Insignia/ESG's William V. Cuddy, Jr. and Budd Wiesenberg represented Sunburst Technology in the transaction. The long-term lease deal was negotiated on a direct basis with Mark Blandford of Diamond Properties. Sunburst Technology will occupy part of the first floor of 400 Columbus Avenue on a long-term lease. The 400 Columbus Ave. property is a two-story (plus penthouse level) multi-tenanted building that totals approximately 137,000-sf of space.
The lease commitment at 400 Columbus Ave. also represents a diversification for Sunburst Technology. The company's warehouse and distribution operation, also formerly located at 101 Castleton St. in Pleasantville, separated from the publication business and relocated last year to Elgin, Ill.
