Steve Economos and George Economos of the NAI Capital Commercial office in Newport Beach represented the buyer. The two class B buildings are both of steel frame construction, one in a two-story design and the other, three stories. Built in 1979, the combined 66,363 sf was about 85% occupied at the time of the sale. They are part of the Centerpointe Office Park, a project of eight buildings comprising approximately 240,000 sf at the corner of MacArthur and Jamboree boulevards. Colton Corp., which had owned the buildings for more than 10 years, was represented by Bob Smith and Mike Kane of the Newport Beach office of CB Richard Ellis Inc.
