PE Service Consulting Engineers Ltd. will gain about 1,000 sf of extra office space with the early August move-in to 8303 Southwest Freeway, Gloria Parrino of Betz Commercial Brokerage Inc. in Houston tells GlobeSt.com.
Parrino, the tenant's representative, says the structural engineering firm wanted a new office with more space in the southwest quadrant and easy access to Beltway 8. Patricia Lowery in the Houston office of Premium Assets brokered the terms for the building owner, Center Holdings LP of Brooklyn, NY. The 423,000-sf complex is a three-building development with a quoted rate of $14 per sf.
In another office lease, Gibson-Gruenert LP moved into 1,770 sf in Phoenix Tower, a class A, 618,578-sf building at 3200 Southwest Freeway. The business law firm, headquartered in Lafayette, LA, signed a mid-term lease to exit a 2,500-sf office in the Medical Center after a three-year stint.
Phoenix Tower is owned by a Beverly Hills, CA partnership and managed by Houston-based Hines. Paula Bruns of Hines negotiated the terms for the owner and Parrino represented the tenant.
