Rayne Systems of Houston, a residential water-softening firm, has moved into 4,000 sf of office-warehouse space. Rayne and the other two new tenants signed three-year leases for a 12,000-sf building at 11321 Windfern Rd., Corey King with the Betz Cos. in Houston tells GlobeSt.com. Rayne relocated from within the northwest submarket, says King.Dutton Electric Co., a local startup which has already set up shop, signed for 3,150 sf as did Legero International, a Dutch freight forwarder with other area locations. None of the tenants used brokers to negotiate their leases.
King represented the park owner, a locally based private investor. Before lease-up, King says the asking rate averaged 55 cents per sf.
