Graham Packaging Company, L.P., based in York, PA, designs, manufacturersand sells customized blow-molded plastic containers for the branded food andbeverage, household and personal care and automotive lubricants markets.

Cody Smoot and Mike Taetz of the Houston office of Colliers Internationalrepresented Graham Packaging in the lease negotiations. Smoot tellsGlobeSt.com that the renewal was for a medium term, while the expansionspace was leased on a short term.

Smoot says they spent about three months surveying options for his client.The firm has specialized requirements, which include the ability to houselarge equipment, he said and ultimately the building they were in still bestfits those requirements. Graham Packaging has already moved into itsexpansion space.

The building owner, Houston-W Loop Ltd. was represented by Mike Handel ofHouston's Insite Realty Partners. Handel is traveling and could not bereached for comment on the deal.
