Landlord Arden Realty Inc. says CalSurance, a subsidiary of independent insurance intermediary Brown & Brown Inc., will be occupying about half of the 681 S. Parker St. building, which is being vacated by Kemper Insurance next month. Andy Batcheller, leasing manager for Arden, says the Los Angeles-based real estate investment trust is in negotiations to lease the remaining 36,227 sf at 681 S. Parker.

Royce Scharf and Scott Granger of Julien J. Studley represented the tenant, with Greg Brown and Drew Netherton of Cushman & Wakefield representing Arden. CalSurance provides a range of insurance brokerage and claims services, including claims adjusting, risk management and specialized coverage for unusual business risks.
