The 65,360-sf Prescott, AZ, store is currently under construction at the southwest corner of Sandretto Drive and Willow Creek Road. It is scheduled to open by the end of this year.
In Florence, AZ, construction began this month on a 65,000 sf Fry's store at 542 E. Hunt Highway in Johnson Ranch with completion expected early next year. Construction on the Avondale store, to be located at the southeast corner of Buckeye Road and 115th Avenue, will begin in the third quarter of 2003.
The stores, designed by Kurt D. Reed Associates of Scottsdale, are being built by Summit Builders. In the last 13 years, Summit has contracted to build 22 stores in Arizona for the grocery chain.
