Arizona-based Western Medical Inc. will move into the 2202 E. University Dr. building, located within Phoenix's CK Airpark, in October, after making some minor tenant improvements on the property, Mark Detmer, with Trammell Crow Co.'s Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com. The medical supplier will take space formerly used by Albertsons' health and homecare division. The company vacated the space after the division was sold.
"Western medical is in the same business of home health-care and the facility met their needs for the distribution of those products," Detmer said of Western Medical's sublease choice. He and Bo Mills, also with Trammell Crow, represented Albertsons in the negotiations. Building owner Portland Port Industrial Park LP, headquartered in California, was assisted in the transaction by Don Shikles with Coldwell Banker Metro Commercial in Phoenix.
