The buyer has shelled out more than $1.4 million for the North County parcel, which is located at 25067 Jack Rabbit Acre in Escondido. Situated across from the new Brookside Golf Course, the property is located in a residential community that stands in close proximity to the I-15 and I-5 freeways.

"The property was attractive to the buyer because we were able to obtain a tentative map from the county for a 12-lot residential subdivision," says Jim Taylor of Sperry Van Ness. Taylor, who is based in Sperry Van Ness' San Diego office, acted on behalf of both Shoreline and the seller, Antoniades Family Trust. "I was able to show the seller how to turn a $750,000 property into a $1.5-million property by gaining entitlements," Taylor adds.
