NAC Development Co. is planning a 110,000-sf retail plaza to be anchored by a 30,000-sf Gold's Gym, Shelby Tworek, with NAI Horizon's Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com. "A lot of people have been trying to come there with a health club and we finally brought it," said Tworek. Terms of the Gold's Gym lease were unavailable.
The multi-million-dollar project will be located near a recently built Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and Ultimate Electronics and include a 10,000-sf hair salon along with a sporting goods store. The remaining space will lease for rates ranging from $30 per sf to $36 per sf, he said. Northsight Crossing LLC purchased the parcel for about $6 million from Tom Treeacre of Scottsdale, Tworek said.
