In his new role, Perkins oversees 15 leasing and management professionals in the state. He also will provide investment services and secure new business assignments. He will report to Christopher Wasko, managing director of leasing and management.
Perkins has more than 14 years of experience in Florida real estate.
Perkins previously was owner and principal of Perkins Realty Advisors Inc. where he focused on sales and leasing of South Florida office buildings. Before he formed Perkins Realty Advisors, he was a vice president for Codina Realty Services.
His portfolio of completed transactions includes the purchase of a 200,000-sf, class A office building and a 157-room hotel complex in downtown Coral Gables, as well as a 12-year, 125,000-sf lease.
