The projects, which cost a total of $9 million to build, will add a new Nissan dealership to the Peoria landscape at 9055 W. Bell Rd. and give ABC Nissan at 1300 E. Camelback Rd. in Phoenix a much needed facelift. The construction is part of Nissan's nationwide image makeover program to give its dealerships a contemporary look. The plans call for a high-tech exterior styling with chrome and aluminum accents and an interior that will maximize functionality and create a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for customers.
DL Withers, which is constructing both projects using the architectural designs of John Mahoney Architects of Tempe, is currently in the final phase of construction at ABC Nissan, the highest volume dealership in the country. That project, constructed in four phases to allow the dealership to remain open, included the construction of two structures totaling 33,000 sf. The two-story main building will house a showroom, sales and finance offices, customer lounge area and training facility. A second building, to be completed in October, will expand the dealership's existing service area.
The Peoria dealership, will consist of one 48,132-sf building that will include the dealership's showroom, offices, service area and parts storage.
