Burstyn, who joined Marcus & Millichap in 1995, was awarded the status in recognition of his excellent client relationships, expertise in investment real estate and exceptional sales volume, according to David Wetta, who heads the firm's regional office in Phoenix.A specialist in the greater Phoenix retail market, Burstyn has consistently negotiated several multi-million-dollar retail deals during his eight-year career with the Encino, CA-based commercial brokerage firm, including the $4.4-million sale of Sun Valley Plaza I and II in Mesa, the sale of Avondale Shopping Center in Avondale for $3.5 million and the $1.3-million closing of a Burger King restaurant in North Phoenix, all signed within the first six months of this year.

A winner of several national sales achievement awards, Burstyn currently serves as an associate director of Marcus & Millichap's National Retail Group which focuses exclusively on retail property investments.
