Red Bolt LLC won ownership of the 8,147-sf industrial officebuilding at 4636 S. 35th St. with an unsolicited offer to the SaltLake City-based parent company, GDP LLC, just one week after theshuttle company relocated to Northsight Business Center inScottsdale, Kirk Jenkins, with Daum Commercial Real Estate Servicestells GlobeSt.com. He says Red Bolt selected the property becauseit is a small freestanding building with a fenced yard that isideal for its electrical contracting business "Finding afreestanding building is difficult," he notes, adding that smallfreestanding properties are scooped up quickly by buyers, often atpremium rates.

Red Bolt learned of Super Shuttle's move and made an offerbefore the property could hit the market, he said. Jenkinsrepresented seller and Sheila Hansbury with Shea Commercial RealEstate in Phoenix bargained for the buyer.
