The Phoenix-based company bought the parcel, located in the El Dorado Tech Center at the southeast corner of Guadalupe and Colorado in Gilbert, from NOR-Mel Investments, LLC of Phoenix for slightly more than $2.1 million. Rob Martensen with Colliers International tells GlobeSt.com that construction on a 55,000-sf manufacturing building is expected to begin early next year with completion scheduled for the third quarter. A second 55,000-sf building will be built later.
Martensen says the firm selected the land because it offered frontage on Guadalupe Road and was close to its customer base. The property is located in an industrial park with tenants that include Papa John's Pizza and Tokyo Electron.
The transaction was negotiated for the buyer by Martensen, Paul Sieczkowski and Mike Parker, all with Colliers International. The seller was represented by Mark DiSabato with Atlantis Commercial of Phoenix.
