A year earlier, casinos in three mountain areas--Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek--generated $89.7 million, according to the Colorado Revenue Department.
A total of $100.8 million in gambling revenues were produced in the 2003 year.
The state's general revenue fund received $38.4 million of the proceeds and $25.47 million went to the state's historical society.
The remainder of the money went to local governments, tourism promotion, the Colorado Department of Transportation and gambling impact funds.
