Appraisals Unlimited is relocating from nearby Brookline and bought the building so it could expand its operation. A representative of NACM tells GlobeSt.com that the firm will remain in the building and will lease space from the new owner. Lease rates for the building were not available, but the average asking rent for office space in the area is about $25 per sf. Vacancy rates for the area are still relatively high with most reports indicating that the figure is about 20%.
