Porter, who comes to Coreland after serving as leasing manager with Trizec Properties in Los Angeles for the last four years, is responsible for major third-party retail leasing and sales assignments as well as direct oversight of the retail leasing and sales professionals based out of the company's Tustin and Valencia offices. Before Trizec, he was vice president of the community center leasing division for Urban Retail Properties Co. in Santa Ana and held a position as a leasing representative for two years at Hopkins Development Co. in Newport Beach.
Porter will report to Steven Hogberg, vice president of leasing and sales, and be based initially in the company's Tustin office. Current plans are to have Porter head a new Los Angeles office in the first or second quarter of 2004.
