The larger deal, 18,240 sf, put the Dallas Cowboys merchandising business into 8726 W. Royal Lane, a TA Western-owned building in the Irving city limits. The space is overflow storage for the operation's nearby 44,200-sf building bought about 1.5 years ago. Tenant representative Dan Spika of Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas says the merchandising affiliate added new wares and simply needed more storage area. Jim Brice of the Holt Cos., also in Dallas, represented TA Western in the negotiations for the three-year lease.
In nearby Las Colinas, Denitech Corp. is moving into 11,286 sf at 2910 Skyway Circle in a relocation from within the submarket. Dan Lawson, marketing director for Dallas-based Proterra Properties tells GlobeSt.com that the tenant signed a 10-year lease that nudged occupancy to 90% in the four-building, 160,000-sf complex. The inbound tenant services and sells copiers.
Denitech, taking a spot that's been dark for seven months, was represented by Blake Anderson of the Staubach Co. in Dallas. The property is owned by Greenbriar Holdings of Dallas, with Proterra Properties as the general partner.
