The 500,000-sf, 11-story building, which is located in the Back Bay, is nearly fully occupied with about 52,000 sf available. Among its office tenants are Schlesinger Associates, Houghton Mifflin, Kopelman & Paige, PC, Consulate General of France, Yankee Group, First Marblehead Corp. and Liberty Mutual. Its retail tenants include Duxiana, Souper Salad, Fire & Ice, Salon Bostonia, Morson Group and Jennifer Hallmark.
Lease rates for this deal were not available but the average asking rent for space in the building is about $30 per sf.
Juliette Reiter, associate, of GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey & Stevens, represented the tenant in the transaction while Andrew Maher, vice president, of CB Richard Ellis represented the property owner, Capital Properties.
