Come November, the Whirlpool logistics operation's new address will be 7865 Northcourt, one of four buildings in the 1.3-million-sf, 63-acre development in northwest Houston. At last count, the project was 35% leased: Ford Motor Co., 252,000 sf and JFC International, a division of the Kikkoman Group, 60,118 sf.
Ross Matthews and David Hudson, both in the Houston office for Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co., handled lease negotiations for the property owner, SP Alamo GP LLC, an affiliate of CB Richard Ellis Strategic Partners LP in Los Angeles. A Jones Lang LaSalle broker in Houston represented Whirlpool.
Hudson tells GlobeSt.com that Whirlpool is relocating from 20,000 sf of leased industrial space near Clay and Windfern roads, also in the northwest submarket, to flex product with about 3,000 sf of office area.
