Chris Giglio and Steve Schaner of the Anaheim office of Grubb & Ellis, who represented the tenant, say the organization has already relocated to the new facility from leased space in Placentia. The new space will house the headquarters for the charity and will also be used for warehousing and distribution. Giving Children Hope coordinates the donation and distribution of goods to needy children overseas.

Giglio tells GlobeSt.com that the charity formerly occupied about 20,000 sf at its Placentia location. The 8332 Commonwealth building includes two parts, about 10,000 sf that was constructed in the 1960s, and the remainder built in the early 1980s, which includes about 4,500 sf of two-story office space.

The charity's new headquarters building is owned by the Gardner and Fulmer Family trusts, who were represented by Paul Gingrich and Chris Migliori of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services.
