The seller was Ital Florida Foods Inc., a pasta maker that has decided to close up shop at the site.
Barnard Nut is currently doing repairs to the industrial building, which was built in the '90s, according to Rafael Villamizar, a broker involved in the deal. The building is located at 2801 N.W. 125th St.
Barnard Nut, based at 7300 N.W. 12th Ave., has two facilities in the city besides its recent purchase, both near US Highway 441 and Interstate 95. However, the company's business was growing and it needed to expand.
