This $450,000 facility at 1905 Suburban Avenue will include classrooms, a hair salon, a nail salon and skin care areas. Completion is expected by a year from Oct. 1.
It is the second facility CMC has constructed for the Scot Lewis Schools. The first facility located in Bloomington, MN, was completed in 2001.
CMC is also working with Hairazors Salon in Shorewood, MN to complete an expansion of their existing salon located in the Shorewood Village Center. Hairazors is still in the final design phase. Construction costs have not been finalized. Hairazors provides hair care services including cut, style, color, permanents and straightening.
Consulting Management Construction is the contractor on both projects. The firm, which was founded by Paul Anderson in 1992, provides a comprehensive range of construction management, owner representation and consulting services.
