Delson formerly was an EVP at the Mission Viejo Co., where he was responsible for residential, commercial and community projects in California and Colorado totaling approximately 40,000 acres.

The new COO at Marina has spent more than 30 years in real estate and development, including positions with responsibilities for land acquisition; management of planning and entitlements; project budgeting and costing; management of construction, engineering, architecture and marketing; as well as asset valuation and disposition.

Delson continues to operate his own development company, S. Delson & Co., and serves as SVP of Orange County-based Advantage4 LLC, a real estate service company formed that assists developers and owners of real estate projects in utility regulatory issues.

During his 24 years with Mission Viejo Co., Delson held a number of positions, including serving as a member of the team that completed the planning, entitlement and development of the 6,600-acre community master plan for Aliso Viejo.
