Most recently, Clancy was senior managing director of operations for Colliers ABR, the New York-based affiliate of Colliers International, where was responsible for a 30-building portfolio comprising 16 million sf of office space.

In 1985, Clancy began a tenure with Cushman & Wakefield, rising to the post of portfolio manager in New York, and then transferring to Philadelphia, where he served as branch manager for management services for five years, until 1995. His next position was as an asset manager with Sumitomo Realty & Development Inc.

Clancy serves on the REBNY and BOMA and New York Association of Realty Managers board of directors.

Clancy attended the Maritime College of the State University of New York, where he earned a degree in nuclear science and a marine engineering license. After graduation, he worked in the marine industries for several years, and then managed a 10-megawatt co-generation facility for New York University in the early 1980s.
