Architect for the Rochester KinderCare project is Tarlos & Associates. The general contractor for the build-out is Real Estate Diversified Inc. Cost of the project was not available.
The new center will feature an outdoor Playscape, an extension of the classroom that offers different settings, surfaces, textures and equipment to stimulate learning and development through providing a variety of play opportunities. The center, which is designed to accommodate 151 children, will be the 42nd operating in the state.
The KinderCare Learning Center is expected to be open in April 2004.
KinderCare Learning Centers, based in Portland, OR, is a provider of early childhood education and care to children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years in the US. KinderCare and its subsidiaries operate 1,257 early childhood education and care centers in 39 states in the US and two centers in the United Kingdom.
