Following his 13 years in C&W's local office, Monaghan relocated to the Hong Kong office of C&W where he spearheaded expansion of major companies into Asia and the Pacific region. Later he moved to the company's London office as director of European operations. Most recently, as a director of international operations at C&W in New York, Monaghan had responsibilities for business in Latin America and Canada.
In a statement announcing the appointment, Binswanger cites Monaghan's "expertise and profound understanding of the industry" and says he is "respected throughout the world of international commercial real estate." He is charged with developing new business opportunities for Binswanger among major multinational corporations abroad.
Through membership in Chesterton Blumenauer Binswanger, Binswanger has representation at 160 offices throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, South America, the UK and Europe, the Middle East, Asia, South Africa and Australia.
